We’re all in favor of Safety and Security. But is the claim an accurate depiction of fact?.
The District’s Own Data Says that $10M in Technology is for Safety and Security, not $71.8M
As part of the $97.6M, the District claimed virtually ALL the Technology spend. In the detailed work papers from the consultant, $10.M (not $71.8M) was attributed to Safety and Security.
This is a $61.8m overstatement by the District.
